Stand Firm: A Night for Men, Meat, and Meaning
On May 7th at 5:30 PM, we're inviting men to gather for a simple but meaningful evening centered on food, fellowship, and biblical truth.
This won't be a long conference or a packed schedule. It's a few intentional hours to slow down, share a meal, and be reminded of what God says it means to be a man.
Why This Night Matters
In a world full of mixed messages about masculinity, it can be hard to know what truly defines a man. Culture offers plenty of opinions, but Scripture gives us something better—clarity, purpose, and direction.
The Bible calls men to something deeper than personality or preference. It calls men to responsibility, to leadership rooted in humility, and to lives shaped by obedience to God.
"Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity." — 1 Corinthians 16:13–14 (KJV)
This night is about rediscovering that calling together.
What to Expect
We'll gather around the grill, share a meal, and spend time connecting with one another. Throughout the evening, we'll focus on a few simple but powerful truths drawn from Scripture:
Men are called to take responsibility Men are called to follow God's Word Men are called to love and lead well in their relationships
There will be a short teaching and honest conversation around what it means to live as a man of God. We'll create space to learn from one another and point each other back to Christ.
A Night Built Around Connection
This isn't about performance or pressure—it's about presence.
Whether you're a young man still finding your way, somewhere in the middle of life's responsibilities, or a seasoned man with wisdom to share — this night is for you. Every man is welcome at the table. Bring a friend.
We believe one of the most powerful things that can happen is simply this: men talking honestly, learning from one another, and pointing each other back to Christ.
The Heart of It All
At the center of everything is this truth:
We don't become the men God has called us to be by trying harder—we become those men by surrendering to Jesus.
"…for without me ye can do nothing." — John 15:5 (KJV)
Our hope is that every man who comes will leave encouraged, challenged, and equipped to take one step forward—whether that's in his faith, his family, or his responsibility.
